ANTHRACURE overcomes this problem by utilizing long-wavelength UV light beyond the blocked range.

Sensitization by ANTHRACURE for LED light sources

Onium salt-based initiators do not work under 395-nm single-wavelength irradiation.

A practical curing rate is obtained, however, by adding ANTHRACURE.

Sensitizing effect of ANTHRACURE in thick film polymerization

An UV radiation that excites the initiator does not reach to the deep zones (orange).

Thick film polymerization requires long-wavelength radiation that reaches up to the bottom of the film (blue).

ANTHRACURE permits thick film polymerization by absorbing long-wavelength UV radiation to excite the initiator.
